Remove your phone number from Twitter
Log in to your Twitter account.
Click on the “account settings” link.
Scroll down and click on “settings for twitter.”
In the “twitter account settings” section, click on the “settings for phone number” option.
Change the value of the “phone number field” to “no phone number.”
Click on the “save changes” button and confirm your changes.
Log out of your Twitter account and forget about your phone number!
Update your account with this guide
In order to remove your phone number from Twitter, you first need to update your account. To do this, you’ll need to go to your Twitter settings and click on the “accounts” tab. You’ll then need to click on the “update your account” button. Once you’ve updated your account, you can return to your Twitter settings andclick on the “profile” tab. On the profile page, you will now see a list of all of your accounts. One of the accounts in this list is called “you.” If your phone number is not on this list, you will need to add it by clicking on the “add phone number” button. After adding your phone number, you will now be able to access your account and tweet with ease!
Reset your account if you want to keep your number.
Twitter requires a phone number for account activation. If you don’t have a phone number, you can reset your account by going to the Twitter Settings page and clicking on the Reset Your Account link. Once you reset your account, you won’t be able to use your phone number to log in or tweet.
