The LG G3 isn’t shy of putting on another color scheme since its debut earlier in 2014, much like we’ve seen with the Best Buy-exclusive blue design, and now the red variant of the handset has finally made its U.S.-based debut. Considering the color scheme, perhaps it’s not at all surprising that the Big Red carrier itself, Verizon Wireless, has managed to launch the handset for the holiday shopping season. Verizon quietly launched the powerful handset on Monday, December 1, and attached with it a Cyber Monday deal for those looking to get their hands on a brand new flagship handset. The red variant of the G3 looks to be the same as any other variant out there in the wild, save for the stark red back cover. As one can see from the image above, the front of the handset still bears the all-black duds, while Verizon is still insisting on including its own branding up there in the top-right corner. Interestingly, though, with the Cyber Monday deal going on, the brand new red version of the G3 is actually cheaper than the white or black options Verizon has on offer. Those two models still run a customer $99.99, while the red option is free. However, if a subscriber wants to opt for Verizon’s monthly installment plan, Edge, it will be $0 down and 24 monthly payments of $24.99. What do you think of the red model?
