Ever since we heard that Razer was working on a sequel to its first smartphone, the Razer Phone, it’s been a question as to when the company would actually get around to announcing the thing. And it turns out the wait won’t be too long at all. Razer has begun sending out a save-the-date notification to folks out there in the wild, telling them to hold any of their calls (and make preparations for) an event being held on Wednesday, October 10. We can see what appears to be the outline of a phone on the invite above, but not much else. As far as what the handset will feature, that remains an unknown quantity at this point. But it stands to reason that we probably won’t see the Razer Phone 2 drop the 120Hz refresh rate on its display, which the company brought to market with the original model. We’ll probably see improvements to the display, processor, and other quantities as well. Are you looking forward to the Razer Phone 2?
